About Me

My background, research interests, and the progression of my technical work.

Hammad Hasan working in an electrical engineering laboratory

I am an electrical engineer working across power electronics, electric machines, embedded control, and power-system dynamics. My work combines first-principles mathematical modeling with simulation, controller development, PCB and hardware implementation, and experimental validation.

My recent work extends that background into converter-dominated power systems: renewable integration, grid-forming and grid-following converter dynamics, transmission studies, system strength, and optimization-oriented power-system research. The common thread is the interaction between power-electronic controls and the wider electrical system.
